Blue Orchid will work with you to create high-quality written work for your organization. Examples of possible work could include:

  • Grant applications
  • Policy or research briefs

  • Expression of interest letters
  • Educational materials
  • Blog, website, or social media posts

While I primarily work with environmental non-profit organizations, I’m keen to expand my horizons to include a variety of partners across diverse fields, as good writing principles benefit everyone.

I offer fixed rates per project so that you know the project’s cost in advance of completion. Rates vary by project.

Please visit my contact page or email charlotte@blueorchidwriting.ca to schedule a time to discuss how I can best work with you to serve your needs.

About

Charlotte Large

Bachelor of Arts I Masters of Resource & Environmental Management

I am an environmental professional with a background in project coordination, research, and writing. Over the past several years, I have worked with dozens of non-profits, academics, levels of government, and other partners on a variety of projects, large and small, all of which had one thing in common: they required excellent writing skills.

The precise use of language is an art. I’m proud to have spent considerable time honing my skills in that art form, whether it be through a blog post, poetry, or a well-written policy brief.

I started Blue Orchid because I value clear communication and high-quality work. My colleagues have characterized me by my reliability, attention to detail, and coolness under pressure. It would be my pleasure to bring that, along with my passion for a well-crafted sentence, to assist you with your projects.
